BOBTEAM WALKER

Bobsleigh is a team sport that requires excellent coordination and communication among team members. 

Bree could not do it without the extensive support from the side line. This includes coaches, allied health specialists, mentors, family and friends, to ensure a successful season on the ice.

PILOT - BREE WALKER

Been a pilot of the Australian Bobsleigh Team since 2016. Debut at her first world cup in 2018 and since represented Australia at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in the Two-man and Monobob event.

HEAD COACH - PIERRE LUEDERS

Five-time Canadian Olympic Bobsledder between 1990 to 2010. He is known as the most decorated slider in Canadian history, becoming the 1998 Nagano Olympic Champion and the 2006 Turin Olympic silver medallist in the two-man event. He then went on to become the Head Coach at the last three Olympic host nations in Bobsleigh before beginning coaching Bree in 2022.

MENTOR - LYDIA LASSILA

Five-time Australian Olympic Arial Skier between 2002 to 2018. She is the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Champion and the 2014 bronze medallist. She has been working with Bree as her Mindset Coach and Mentor since 2021 developing her champion Mindset.

PUSH COAch - Florian Linder

Canadian Bobsledder between the years of 2002-2006. He went on to become the Performance Analyst and Technical Push Coach at the last three Olympic host nations in Bobsleigh, along with Pierre Lueders before becoming Bree and her team’s Performance Analyst and Technical Push Coach in 2023.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST - Jon Wilhem & Co.

Many physios support Bree and her team to perform at the highest level, however, since 2021 Jon has been the main medical practitioner. He is a certified Sports Chiropractor and Movement Specialist who has worked with many high performing athletes across the world as well as running his very successful Chiropractic clinic in Bosman, Montana, USA.

BrakeWoman - KIARA REDDINGIUS

Kiara Reddingius will be re-joining Bobteam Walker as a brakewomen for the 2023/24 Bobsleigh season. She was Bree’s brakewomen at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and after taken a momentary break from the sport, the team is excited to have her back on the sled for the up and coming season.

AUSTRALIAN SPORTING INSTITUTES - OWIA & QAS

The Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) has been a huge support of Bree since 2018 and has recently up that support to help run her program since her fantastic results at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) has also been a big supporter of Bree since 2020 and has now partnered with OWIA to assist in the running of Bree’s program.
